Cooks Cottage

生日的這一天，友人帶我來到庫克小屋Cooks Cottage，出發前友人說著要帶我去看船長。

充滿問號之餘還是來了，我腦中浮現的是小飛俠裡頭的虎克船長，遲遲提不起任何興趣。

Cooks Cottage位在墨爾本的Fitzroy Garden裡頭，進去前需要在外頭先買票，工作人員會在小屋的門口驗票然後再進場。

On my birthday, my friend took me to Cooks Cottage. Before departure, my friend said that he would take me to see the captain.

I came here despite being full of question marks. What came to my mind was Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and I couldn’t arouse any interest for a long time.

Cooks Cottage is located in Fitzroy Garden in Melbourne. Before entering, you need to buy a ticket outside. The staff will check the ticket at the door of the cottage before entering.

走進了屋子裡頭參觀，想著原來當時的庫克是生活在這裡呀！我腦中浮現的問題是，睡在這裡冬天應該很冷吧！不過看到有一個壁爐就知道是我多想了，幻想著如果在這裡過冬，靠在升起熊熊火焰的壁爐旁喝著咖啡再搭配一本書，這就是享受生活的感覺吧！

直接打臉前面一直提不起興趣的我，果然還是要親自來現場感受才能體會。

I walked into the house to visit, thinking that Cook was living here at that time! The question that comes to my mind is, it must be very cold to sleep here in winter! But when I saw a fireplace, I knew that I was thinking too much. I imagined that if I spent the winter here, I would drink coffee and match a book with the burning fireplace. This is the feeling of enjoying life!

I haven't been interested in the direct slap in the face, but I still have to come to the scene to experience it in person.

一樓的側邊房間是導覽解說的地方，有一台電視是專門解說庫克船長與小屋的歷史，但因為本人我看不懂所以直接上網查詢，才發現這個小屋的一磚一瓦是從英國直送來澳洲的禮物之外，房屋的擺設也是原封不動的還原，滿滿的英國鄉村風情的18世紀的建築。

解說室裡頭還放著模擬當時18世紀人們的衣服可以換上之後在這裡拍照，二話不說與友人選好立刻換上，然後直接走出外頭拍照留念。

友人試著裝作自己來自18世紀，很自然地在逛自家的後花園。

而我也不可能放過這個機會來好好扮演我的角色，只能說我看起來很適合生活在這裡或是那個年代。一直都滿想生活看看在以前的時代，雖然少了很多3C類型的產品，總覺得當時的生活比現在單純很多，每天就是認真的過好自己的生活，只要衣食無缺就很容易滿足了吧。

Looking at the previous era, although there were many 3C products, I always feel that life at that time was much simpler than now. Every day is to live a good life seriously. As long as there is enough food and clothing, it is easy to be satisfied. .

最後獻上庫克船長本人的雕像跟很矮的船長本人。

他是發現澳大利亞大陸又是登上岸的第一個外國人。

Finally, the statue of Captain Cook himself and the very short captain himself are presented.He was the first foreigner to discover and land on the Australian mainland.

不曉得疫情後還有沒有服裝可以租借拍照，如果已經沒有這個活動我想好玩程度會少掉好幾顆星，畢竟要跟18世紀的建築合照總不能穿著21世紀的服裝吧。其實大家都穿的很現代拍照，只有我們在裡頭玩得不亦樂乎之外，導覽人員還幫忙我們拍照，結束還跟我們說”Good job!”

I don’t know if there are still costumes that can be rented to take pictures after the epidemic. If there is no such event, I think the fun level will lose a few stars. After all, you can’t wear 21st-century costumes if you want to take pictures with 18th-century buildings. In fact, everyone was dressed in modern clothes to take pictures, only we had a great time playing inside, the guides also helped us take pictures, and at the end they said "Good job!"
