回到過去：澳洲淘金小鎮的時光隧道

終於和朋友一起來到一直很想來的淘金小鎮Sovereign Hill，再加上我一直吵著說很想來看看，終於親眼看到這裡的19世紀的風格不只建築和還有這裡的氛圍都是沈浸式的體驗。

Finally arrived at Sovereign Hill, the gold rush town I've always wanted to visit with my friends. I've been talking about coming here for so long, and seeing the 19th-century style of this place firsthand, from the architecture to the immersive atmosphere, is truly remarkable.

進來小鎮之後就可以看到工作人員都是穿著19世紀風格的服裝，而自己是羽絨外套配上長褲已經感覺自已是被傳送到19世紀的時空裡。

Upon entering the town, you can immediately spot the staff dressed in 19th-century attire. Clad in my puffer jacket and trousers, I already felt like I had been transported back to the 19th century.

而我腳踩布鞋身穿羽絨外套與這個街景完全不合的內心讓我有種衝突的感受。

Wearing canvas shoes and a puffer jacket amidst this streetscape that doesn't quite match made me feel a conflicting mix of emotions.

還有印刷店可以製作自己通緝海報的店鋪，非常復古可愛但價錢確實有點高啊。如果印完可以貼在街道上那我會願意購買唷，但也怕被抓走就是了。

The print shop offering personalized wanted posters is charmingly vintage, but indeed, the prices can be a bit steep. If they allowed posting them around the streets after printing, I'd consider buying one, though there's that slight fear of getting caught too!

走著走著在斜坡上的郵局實在是太可愛了吧，真的好喜歡以前的建築，不只是配色就像童話故事裡的小屋，郵局的牆上還會貼著賞金海報每一處的細節都好仔細，光是坐在這裡故事感就很滿了，只差煙囪裡沒有冒著煙，不然我就在這裡住下了。

Walking along and seeing the adorable post office perched on the slope was simply delightful! I absolutely adore the architecture of the past—it's like a cottage straight out of a fairy tale. The details on the walls with wanted posters add such a meticulous touch. Just sitting there, it feels like there's so much story to absorb. If only there were smoke billowing from the chimney, I might have settled down right there!

除了可愛的郵局還有街道旁的麵包店不只是裝飾，是真的會飄出麵包的香味店舖裡也會販售著小麵包。當然店員也是穿著19世紀的服裝在工作，就更有帶入感了。

In addition to the charming post office, there's also a bakery by the street that's not just for show—it actually wafts the scent of freshly baked bread, and they sell little loaves inside. And of course, the staff, dressed in 19th-century attire, add even more authenticity to the experience.

甚至還有酒吧，雖然是白天但店裡的擺設和牆上的海報設計都很有味道和巧思，除了剛走進來就有一個大酒桶之外也是可以直接點一杯酒來喝，我想我的頭只差一頂牛仔帽了。

Even a bar! Despite it being daytime, the interior decor and the creative posters on the walls exude a distinct vibe and charm. Apart from the prominent large barrel as soon as you enter, you can actually order a drink right there. I guess the only thing missing for me was a cowboy hat to complete the picture!

再來是發現一間戲院超級復古，舞台上正在表演，會忍不住看著舞台的整個設計真的很精美包括最上面的畫像也很細緻，我想我會這麼喜歡這裡的其中一個原因也是以前的建築都有很多細節，反觀現代的建築就滿無聊的。

Discovering a super vintage theater was a delight—the ongoing performance on stage was mesmerizing. I couldn't help but marvel at the intricate design of the entire stage, including the detailed portraits at the top. I think one of the reasons I adore this place so much is because older buildings always have so many captivating details, whereas modern architecture sometimes feels a bit dull in comparison.

而我們坐在椅子上聽她說著故事，這個場景也跟遊戲「碧血狂殺2」中的亞瑟跟瑪莉一起來戲院看表演的畫面一模一樣，只不過看到嬰兒車的出現就會立刻拉我回到現實世界。

Sitting in our chairs, listening to her storytelling, the scene resembled Arthur and Mary watching a performance together in the game "Red Dead Redemption 2." It was identical, but the sight of a baby stroller would instantly snap me back to the real world.

小鎮的表演很多，會有一段衛兵遊行的表演，最後還會一個一個射擊結束。還會有裝扮19世紀的工作人員也會上演吵架的戲碼或是跟你打招呼做互動，非常有趣。

The town's performances are diverse. There's a procession of guards that culminates in a shooting display. Additionally, the staff, dressed in 19th-century attire, engage in entertaining skits, from staged arguments to interactive greetings—truly amusing!

（只有錄到一小段，因為太專心看表演而忘記錄影了，當我想起來的時候也快結束了，推薦還是去現場看看這震撼的表演。）I only managed to record a short clip because I got so engrossed in the performance that I forgot to film. By the time I remembered, it was almost over. Still, I highly recommend experiencing the breathtaking show in person.

剛好我們去的時候天氣有點冷，所以戶外都會有火爐可以取暖，火燃燒木頭的味道和飄出來的煙霧，我更喜歡這種火爐，不只多了一些溫暖之外站在這裡就感覺身處在19世紀中的錯覺。

When we visited, the weather was a bit chilly, so there were outdoor fireplaces for warmth. I particularly enjoyed the scent of burning wood and the wisps of smoke. These fireplaces added not just warmth but also created a sensation of being transported to the 19th century while standing there.

在來遠遠就可以看到金礦之旅的標誌，走進去就可以買票下地底看礦坑，有三種劇情可以自己選，就隨機選了一種不過我想大部分都差不多的模式。

You can spot the sign for the Gold Mine Tour from a distance. Upon entering, you can purchase tickets to venture underground and explore the mine shaft. There are three storylines to choose from; I randomly selected one, although I imagine most of them follow a similar pattern.

時間到了就在外頭排隊準備搭金礦專車下地底，搭車的過程大概一分多鐘完全沒有燈光非常的黑，抵達後解說員就會開始講解跟帶領我們走礦坑，有密閉恐懼的人來這裡應該會很害怕，可能也是因為在地底的關係氣溫比較冷之外空氣也是濕氣很重。

It was time to queue outside for boarding the special gold mine cart to descend underground. The journey on the cart took about a minute, and it was pitch black, completely devoid of light. Upon arrival, the guide began explaining and leading us through the mine shaft. For those with claustrophobia, this place might be quite daunting. Perhaps due to being underground, not only was it colder, but the air was also notably damp and heavy with moisture.

還可以親眼看到礦坑裡真的黃金，不過裡頭是有監視器所以是不能去破壞環境哦。一趟金礦之旅大概半小時，途中還會站在一個坑洞裡看著投影的畫面播放著以前挖礦的3D動畫。

You could actually see real gold in the mine shaft, but it's under surveillance, so damaging the environment is strictly prohibited. The entire gold mine tour took about half an hour. Along the way, there's a stop where you stand in a pit and watch a projection showcasing a 3D animation of past mining activities.

整體來說最有趣的部分應該是看到真的黃金跟走在礦坑洞裡途中會表演一段拉扯鈴聲的暗號就會有類似像電梯的裝置把金礦運輸上去，結束後會再搭乘專車上去。

The most intriguing parts were undoubtedly witnessing the real gold and experiencing a segment where a bell-ringing code was demonstrated. This triggered a mechanism akin to an elevator, transporting the gold out during our journey through the mine shaft. The tour concluded with us boarding the special cart back to the surface.

路上也會看到馬車正在行駛，也是可以花錢乘坐，但我會比較想體驗自己慢慢走慢慢看，連園區的動物都是真實的，看到正在吃著草的小羊們，內心很嚮往去19年代生活，餵餵動物們累了就回家燒柴在火爐前面坐著休息，雖然這輩子已經沒辦法但可以來這裡體驗看看。

You'll also see horse-drawn carriages passing by that you can pay to ride, but I prefer the experience of walking slowly and taking it all in. Even the animals in the park are real. Seeing the little lambs munching on grass, it really makes me yearn for a life in the 19th century—feeding the animals and then going back home to light a fire and sit by the fireplace to rest. Though it's something I can't do in this lifetime, being here allows me to experience a taste of it.

我在這裡也玩得很開心還有帳篷式的咖啡店，帳篷打開裡頭是真的有一些工具，例如鍋子和鐵杯，外頭也有炊火的擺設，一定要融入過過癮。

I had a great time here, especially at the tent-themed coffee shop. When you open the tent, you'll find real tools inside, like pots and iron cups. Outside, there's even a setup for cooking over an open fire. It's a must to fully immerse yourself in the experience to truly enjoy it.

不過旁邊才是真正的咖啡店，店舖也太可愛了吧，店員在裡頭感覺好小好擠，只不過桌子上的酒精噴霧真的很突兀，因為疫情的規定稍微讓這個咖啡小店多了一些趣味感。

However, the real coffee shop was actually next door, and the storefront was incredibly cute. The staff inside seemed a bit cramped; although, the alcohol spray bottle on the table felt quite out of place. It's interesting how pandemic regulations added a touch of novelty to this charming little coffee shop.

接下來就是重頭戲了，開始體驗淘金。首先有一條河看起來是很多泥沙，我立刻拿起旁邊長得像鍋子的淘金工具開始淘，天氣非常的冷我的手指頭真的快要凍僵，但為了黃金我還是認真的開始看沙子裡頭有沒有黃金，大概十分鐘後發現一粒小黃金都沒有就果斷放棄了。

The highlight began—the gold panning experience. There was a river with a lot of sediment, and I immediately grabbed the gold panning tool that looked like a pan to start. It was freezing cold, and my fingers were almost numb, but determined to find gold, I diligently started sifting through the sand. After about ten minutes and not finding even a speck of gold, I decided to give up.

看得出來我是非常認真在找黃金的存在，但只有找到一堆沙子。旁邊的店舖還有賣著可以裝黃金的容器，抱歉我只有沙子連瓶子都不用買了，錢直接省下來。

It's evident that I was really serious about finding gold, but all I found was a pile of sand. The nearby shop was selling containers for holding gold, but I'm sorry, all I have is sand—no need to buy a bottle. Saved some money there!

整個小鎮算是滿大的，非常適合一家大小或朋友一起來玩，很多活動可以參加，還有一間店舖是糖果屋，會現場製作手工糖果並表演之外還可以試吃，完全不會無聊。

The entire town is quite spacious, making it perfect for families or friends to visit together. There are plenty of activities to participate in, and there's even a shop that resembles a candy house. They craft handmade candies on-site, perform demonstrations, and offer tastings—definitely not a dull moment!

還有打鐵舖，現場直接打鐵之外每一個工具都超級巨大，感覺自己真的來到另一個國度。

There's also a blacksmith's workshop where they forge iron on-site, and every tool there is incredibly huge, making you feel like you've truly stepped into another country.

還以為是道具沒想到是真的是可以使用的巨大吹風機。

I thought it was a prop, but it turns out it's a real giant hairdryer that you can use.

小鎮裡頭還有教會、圖書館與雜貨店，還有服裝店可以買自己的靴子跟牛仔帽，沈浸式體驗可能少了這個裝備不然就更完美了。

The town also houses a church, a library, and a general store. There's even a clothing store where you can buy your own boots and cowboy hats. The immersive experience might be missing something without this gear; it would make it even more perfect.

小鎮設備真的很完善連學校都有。

The town's facilities are indeed comprehensive; they even have a school!

超級大推薦這裡，雖然離墨爾本市區大概一個半小時算是有些距離，但是非常值得來看看。

I highly recommend this place! Even though it's about an hour and a half away from Melbourne city, it's absolutely worth a visit.

門票大概大人一個人是49AU，還有的2022年才推出的Night show是45AU。

The ticket price is approximately 49 AUD per adult, and the newly introduced Night Show from 2022 is 45 AUD.

Night show是在晚上在小鎮裡利用投射光影的特效與觀眾互動，演出時間大概是90分鐘，剛開始會有巴士接送前往不同的地點，也是不同的體驗。

The Night Show takes place in the evening within the town, utilizing projected light effects and audience interaction. The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes. Initially, there's a bus shuttle to various locations, providing a different and unique experience.

靠近聖誕節聖誕之夜，讓我相信聖誕老人真的存在的時刻，雖然我是在百貨公司裡頭與聖誕老人拍照還花了35澳幣。

Close to Christmas, on Christmas Eve, was the moment that made me believe Santa Claus truly exists, even though I took a photo with Santa inside a department store and spent 35 Australian dollars.
