墨爾本Moonlight戶外電影院與Drive-in cinema汽車電影院

一開始看到Moonlight的戶外電影院的廣告就非常想參加，也許是因為在台灣很少能體驗這樣看電影的方式，立刻就找了朋友們一起去。

Upon seeing the advertisement for the outdoor cinema screening of "Moonlight," I was immediately intrigued and eager to attend. Perhaps it was because such movie-watching experiences are rare in Taiwan. Without hesitation, I quickly gathered my friends and went together.

Moonlight 成立於1995年，最有名的露天電影院而名字也非常的浪漫，翻譯為月光電影院，顧名思義下就是在月光下看著電影，而我們是在三月份的秋天去看電影，雖然下午的陽光雖然曬起來很舒服但是一到晚上會偏冷一些。

Moonlight was established in 1995 and is most famous for its outdoor cinema. The name itself, "Moonlight Cinema," is very romantic, suggesting that movies are watched under the moonlight. We went to watch a movie in March, during autumn. Although the afternoon sun was comfortable, it got a bit cold at night.

而放映的地點是辦在墨爾本市區的皇家植物園，園區非常的大不用怕人擠人，整個活動是在綠色的草皮中央放映。

The screening took place in the Royal Botanic Gardens, located in the heart of Melbourne's city center. The gardens are very spacious, so there's no need to worry about overcrowding. The entire event was held in the middle of a green lawn.

我們一行人是七點開放就走入會場，須走一段路才會抵達。邊走還可以邊心欣賞植物園的花，看著指標走還會迷失方向後來才看到被樹擋住的螢幕。

Our group entered the venue at 7:00 PM, and we had to walk a bit to reach it. Along the way, we could admire the flowers in the botanical garden. We even got a bit lost following the signs before finally seeing the screen, which was partially obscured by trees.

抵達後可以看到已經有許多人坐在充氣躺椅上吃著點心與朋友們在聊天，也可以攜帶寵物，好幾次狗狗都從旁邊走過去，而因為沒有特別規定一定要坐在哪所以可以直接找個空地坐下。

Upon arrival, we saw many people sitting on inflatable loungers, snacking, and chatting with friends. Pets were also allowed, and we saw several dogs walking around. There were no specific seating arrangements, so we could simply find an empty spot and sit down.

第一次參加只帶了沙灘巾跟浪味仙小餅乾，其他什麼都沒有帶是稍微有一些可惜，途中還發生了小插曲，完全沒有看到朋友的墨鏡在底下，一屁股直接把墨鏡坐壞，還斷兩根！太好笑所以直接拍下來。

For my first time attending, I only brought a beach towel and some snacks, which was a bit of a pity as I didn't bring anything else. There was a small incident along the way where I accidentally sat on my friend's sunglasses without noticing them underneath me. I ended up breaking the sunglasses, snapping two of the arms! It was quite funny, so I took a picture of it.

發現很多人都帶著自己的毛毯，沒想到晚上溫差太大超級冷，大概只有十幾度吧所以我們直接買了Moonlight的毛毯，雖然薄薄一件但是非常的溫暖。

We noticed that many people brought their own blankets. It turned out to be a very cold night, with temperatures dropping to around 10 degrees Celsius. We ended up buying Moonlight's blankets, which were thin but very warm.

現場也有準備充氣躺椅可以租借，一次好像10AUD就可以租而怕冷的話也可以像我們一樣買一件Moonlight毯子來蓋，一旁也有兩三台餐車可以購買薯條或漢堡類的鹹食，更棒的是也有白酒或紅酒可以點來喝，真的好喜歡澳洲，更能讓自己感受到自己正在生活著。

There were also inflatable loungers available for rent at the venue, which cost about 10 AUD each. If you were worried about the cold, you could buy a Moonlight blanket like we did. There were also two or three food trucks where you could buy fries or burgers, and even better, you could order white or red wine to drink. I really love the events held in Australia; they make me feel like I'm truly living.

電影院的背後還可以看到墨爾本市區的大樓，這樣的景色讓我也感覺活在電影，真的好美。

Behind the cinema, you could see the tall buildings of Melbourne's city center. This view made me feel like I was living in the movie itself. It was truly beautiful.

來報名參加之前可以先上網看有放映哪些電影，票價大概在25AUD左右，晚上大門7點開放進場而電影播放時間為8:45才開始。

Before signing up to attend, you can check online to see which movies are being screened. The ticket price is around 25 AUD. The gates open at 7:00 PM, and the movie starts at 8:45 PM.

三月份的澳洲是秋天所以晚上七點的時候天還是很亮，約莫到八點開始才開始天黑，而冬天則是晚上六點就天黑了。而螢幕也會開始播放一些關於廁所的位置資訊還有走回來要著地上的燈或請友善的工作人員指引方向，連配色都好美，真的是藝術之都的國家。

In March, Australia is in autumn, so it's still quite bright at 7:00 PM, and it doesn't start getting dark until around 8:00 PM. In winter, it gets dark around 6:00 PM. The screen also starts showing information about the location of the restrooms and how to walk back to your seat using the ground lights or by asking the friendly staff for directions. Even the color scheme is beautiful. Australia truly is the art capital of the world.

晚上不知道是不是鳥的活動時間，躺著看天空會有鳥正在飛，為正在看電影的我們多了一些故事感。澳洲的電影都是沒有字幕的，我是滿喜歡這樣的設計，反而更能看到完整電影的畫面不被干擾，不過主要還是跟著朋友們一起在這放鬆才是重點。

I'm not sure if it was the time when birds are active, but lying down and watching the sky, we could see birds flying, which added a bit of story to our movie-watching experience. Australian movies don't have subtitles, and I quite like this design. It allows me to see the complete movie without any distractions. However, the main point is to relax and enjoy the time with friends.

電影快播完前我們就先提前離開了，主要是因為真的太冷了。結果我們走往出口的路是超級暗，完全沒有燈光，走到了大門才發現都鎖起來了，最後還是在旁邊的鐵門翻爬過去，一度要放棄結果最後還是跳過去了，請不要輕易模仿高危險舉動。

We left early before the movie ended because it was just too cold. As we walked towards the exit, we realized that it was extremely dark with no lights. When we reached the gate, we found it was locked. In the end, we had to climb over a nearby iron gate. At one point, we almost gave up, but we managed to jump over it. Please do not attempt to imitate such high-risk behavior.

電影的片單有最新上映或非主流與經典電影，都是闔家觀賞類型適合各個年齡層一起觀看，可以全家大小一起參與或是朋友聚會的地方。當然像靠近情人節的那一週就會都是浪漫愛情片。

The movie lineup includes the latest releases, non-mainstream films, and classics. They are all family-friendly, suitable for all ages, and can be enjoyed by the whole family or as a place for friends to gather. Of course, during the week leading up to Valentine's Day, the movies shown are all romantic love stories.

Dromana 3 Drive-In 露天汽車電影院

每一次開車在路上看到超大螢幕就會吵著說想去汽車電影院看電影。

終於有一次朋友一起約去海邊看極光的回程路途上，我又再說一次好想去汽車電影院看電影，於是朋友就說：「走啊！」於是就這樣開啟了drive-in 露天汽車電影的旅程。

Every time I drive past a large screen, I always say I want to go to a drive-in movie theater.

Finally, one time, on the way back from a trip to see the aurora with friends, I mentioned again how I wanted to go to a drive-in movie theater. My friend said, "Let's go!" And that's how we started our journey to a drive-in outdoor movie theater.

首先會沿著車道進去就有一個像收費站的櫃檯，也是在這個入口處買票，剛好下個時段竟然是當時才剛上映沒多久的「Wrath of Man玩命鈔劫」，買完票之後就可以入場了，工作人員會告訴你停車的號碼再開車前往停車即可。

First, you'll drive along the lane to reach a booth that looks like a toll booth. This is where you buy your tickets. Luckily, the next showing was "Wrath of Man," which had just been released not long ago. After purchasing your tickets, you can enter the venue. The staff will tell you your parking spot number, and you can drive there to park.

帶著超級興奮的心情進去，螢幕是前後各一個，兩部不同的電影可以同時播放，而我們在晚上8:50分進場停好位置後，可以看到旁邊就有販賣部與廁所，可以在這購買熱狗或爆米花上車看電影的時候可以吃。

With a super excited mood, we went in. There were two screens, one in front and one behind, and two different movies could be played simultaneously. After we parked our car at 8:50 PM, we could see a concession stand and restrooms nearby. We could buy hot dogs or popcorn here to eat while watching the movie in the car.

也可以坐在車上用手機訂餐就有工作人員可以幫你送達，真的是超級貼心的服務！

You could also sit in your car and order food using your phone, and the staff would deliver it to you. It was truly a super thoughtful service!

回到車上後開始調整收音機，而只要調整到對的頻率就會出現電影的聲音，真的超級酷！而且收音竟然也還不錯，以為在車上看電影螢幕看不清楚，畫面竟然剛剛好，多虧了朋友又讓我實現了以前電影中的老派約會片段。非常推薦情侶來這裡看電影，完全不會被隔壁的人干擾之外還可以保有自己的空間。

After returning to the car, we started adjusting the radio. As long as you tune it to the right frequency, the movie's sound will come through. It was really cool! And surprisingly, the radio reception was pretty good. I thought the screen would be hard to see from the car, but the picture was just right. Thanks to my friend, I got to experience an old-fashioned movie date scene from the movies. I highly recommend couples to come here to watch movies. You won't be disturbed by people next to you, and you can have your own space.

這裡的片單有時候也是會播放經典老片，但新片也會有，像今年的2024年剛上映的沙丘2這裡也看得到！

The movie lineup here sometimes includes classic old films, but there are also new releases. For example, this year in 2024, we got to see "Dune 2," which had just been released!

相比之下戶外電影院是比較適合多人一起參與而汽車電影院比較適合情侶間一起來觀賞。

Compared to outdoor cinemas, drive-in theaters are more suitable for couples to watch together. Outdoor cinemas are more suitable for group participation.
