歡樂恐怖夜：在澳洲Movie World過萬聖節險些友情撕裂

工作三個月都沒休息，直到包草莓的季節終於結束就與朋友來參加萬聖節的活動啦！

遊樂園的票是提前有訂好，抵達後的晚上車子非常的多。

I've been working non-stop for three months until the strawberry-picking season finally ended, and now I'm here to join in the Halloween festivities with my friends!

We booked the tickets for the amusement park in advance, and upon arrival in the evening, the traffic was incredibly heavy.

地點是舉辦在MOVIE WORLD 華納兄弟的遊樂園，但我的心情是非常抗拒，因為我非常怕被嚇之外，也怕一切恐怖的東西，尤其是「小丑」，還在停車場就已經看到小丑在對著我笑了。

The event is taking place at Movie World. However, I'm feeling extremely resistant because I'm very afraid of being scared and everything related to horror, especially clowns. I've already seen a clown smiling at me in the parking lot.

偏偏怕什麼來什麼，19年的主題就是“it” ，大頭小丑本人直接在掛高高在門口。

首先在門口先拍了一張美美的照片，以免從遊樂場出來之後就不是長這樣了，有可能哭到或嚇到已經直接cos 鬼王本人。

Of all things I fear, 'It' was the theme in 2019, and the giant-headed clown was hanging right at the entrance.

Despite my apprehension, I first took a beautiful picture at the entrance. Just in case, I'm worried that after exiting the amusement park, I might not look the same—tears or fright could easily turn me into a real-life ghost king."

拍完照後大門前就有重金屬樂團正在表演，心裡想著就是一個音樂表演好像不怎麼可怕。而且唱得滿好聽的，直到開始往裡面走才是最煎熬的一段。

After taking the photo, there was a heavy metal band performing right in front of the entrance. I thought to myself that a musical performance doesn't seem that scary. They were singing quite well, but the most excruciating part was when we began walking inside.

首先如果有看過「國定殺戮日」這部電影的人，就可以體會到我當時的體感，街道先是煙霧瀰漫，走著走著就會有鬼突然出現嚇人，有的還會拿著武器，當然他們是不會真的攻擊你。

第一段已經嚇到快腿軟，後來發現假裝不怕面無表情他們就不會嚇你。儘管我的腳抖到不行，以為我在跳popping 。

If anyone has seen the movie 'The Purge,' they can understand the experience I had. The streets were filled with smoke, and as we walked, ghosts would suddenly appear, some even carrying weapons.

Of course, they wouldn't actually attack you.

In the first section, I was so scared that my legs nearly gave out. Later, I discovered that if I pretended not to be afraid and remained expressionless, they wouldn't try to scare me. Despite my legs shaking uncontrollably, it felt like I was doing a popping dance unintentionally.

大概被下五六七八次之後就免疫了，還可以跟他們合照，人會不會太好了，應該是「鬼」也太好了。（附上與鬼的合影）

After being scared five, six, seven, eight times, I became immune to it and could even take photos with them. Maybe I was too friendly; the ghosts were probably too nice. (Attaching a photo of me with the ghosts.)

途中還會有表演可以觀賞，雖然我覺得這個表演大人看了也不宜，再加上我的內心還是一個小孩子啊，所以又加快腳步黏著朋友一起走，非常害怕與大家失散。

Along the way, there were performances to watch. Although I felt like these performances might not be suitable for adults, my inner self is still that of a child. So, I hastened my steps, sticking close to my friends, feeling extremely afraid of getting separated from the group.

接著往前走著也看到了蝙蝠俠車，但在這個萬聖節晚上，韋恩（蝙蝠俠本人）並不會出現，因為我很想叫蝙蝠俠保護我。

As I continued walking, I also saw the Batmobile. However, on this Halloween night, Wayne (Batman himself) wouldn't make an appearance. I really wished I could call Batman to protect me

劇說白天蝙蝠俠會開著車出來，但是今天主角是小丑本人。

The story goes that Batman would drive the car during the day, but today, the main character was the Joker himself.

接下來就是重頭戲，鬼屋。今年的主題是”it“，所以鬼屋裡頭會有大量的小丑出現，排隊的人潮非常的多，我本人非常的害怕到爆炸但又不敢一個人遊蕩在外面，所以就跟著朋友一起排隊。

The main event came next: the haunted house. This year's theme was 'It,' so there were numerous clowns inside the haunted house. The queue was incredibly long, and I was petrified, but I didn't dare to wander around alone, so I stuck with my friends in the queue.

幸好一次是十個人肩膀搭肩膀一起走進去，我本人剛好是在中間的位置非常的幸運，因為我一直在祈禱不要第一或是最後，於是我們十個人就開始出發走進去鬼屋裡了。

Fortunately, we entered the haunted house in a group of ten, walking shoulder to shoulder. I was lucky enough to be in the middle, which was a relief for me because I had been praying not to be at the front or the back. So, the ten of us began our journey into the haunted house.

鬼屋裡面不能拍照所以只能用描述與大家說說，再加上太害怕了根本無法拿出手機。

Inside the haunted house, photography wasn't allowed, so I had to rely on descriptions to share the experience with everyone. Additionally, I was too scared to even think about taking out my phone.

首先，我的視線一直盯著前面的人的背，只要第一個人開始叫，我就閉上我的雙眼死命抓著前面的人的肩膀，所以我好像整場都沒看到什麼，大概有兩段我有睜開眼睛看到小丑突然衝出來還有帶著豬頭面罩的人拿著大刀一直嚇，我被嚇到笑出來之後又走得非常快，出來時我只看到排在我前面朋友的衣服已經被我抓到殘破不堪了，直接可以現場裝扮起來，友誼的小船差一點翻船。

Firstly, I kept my eyes glued to the back of the person in front of me. As soon as the first person started screaming, I shut my eyes and held onto the shoulders of the person in front of me for dear life. Consequently, I barely saw anything throughout most of the experience. There were a couple of moments when I managed to open my eyes and saw a clown suddenly rushing out, along with a person wearing a pig mask holding a large knife, which startled me and made me laugh nervously. After that, I started walking really fast.

When we exited, I noticed that I had unintentionally grabbed and torn my friend's clothes who was in front of me, almost transforming them into a costume on the spot. Our friendship almost took a tumble, quite literally.

我的結論是澳洲鬼屋的鬼基本上就是嚇人但不會碰到妳，比起台灣的鬼屋，我怎麼覺得台灣的鬼屋比較可怕。

From my experience, the ghosts in Australian haunted houses are mainly about startling people without physical contact. In comparison to haunted houses in Taiwan, I feel like the ones in Taiwan are scarier.

膽小鬼恐怖指數我給四點五顆星，而台灣鬼屋十顆星。

I'd rate the fear factor for the haunted house in Australia at 4.5 stars for scaredy-cats, while the haunted houses in Taiwan would get a full 10-star rating.

緩和一下氣氛去玩史酷比狗狗的遊樂設施，小時候的童年回憶，排隊的過程還會播放一些片段可以看，只不過是真人版本。

To lighten the mood, I went to play at the Scooby-Doo amusement attraction. It brought back childhood memories. While waiting in line, they played some clips, albeit in live-action versions, which added to the experience.

排了一段時間後終於到我們，是一節一節的座位車廂，大概可以坐十個人吧，選好位置之後就出發。

After waiting for a while, it was finally our turn. The ride consisted of carriages with several compartments, each able to seat around ten people. Once we picked our spots, the ride began.

車子啟動之後裡頭就是一些史酷比卡通，原本覺得超級不恐怖直到突然加速，外還搭配聲音效果跟燈光差點暈車，但整體是算滿好玩的。

Once the ride started, it was filled with scenes from the Scooby-Doo cartoon. Initially, it seemed non-threatening until it suddenly accelerated, combined with sound effects and lighting that almost made me dizzy, but overall, it was quite fun.

恐怖指數大概以我這個膽小鬼來評分大概一顆星。

From my perspective as a scaredy-cat, I'd rate it at around one star on the fear factor scale.

園區算是滿大的，遊樂設施有些是沒有開放或是要排隊，所以我們並沒有全部玩。

還有阿卡漢瘋人院，走在外面會一直聽到小丑的笑聲，現場氣氛也很不錯。走到一半會有很多扮演小丑的人突然出現，由於我實在是太害怕了所以完全沒拍照，大家可以想像有一個小丑站在那完全不動一直盯著你看，真的會想打他。（錯誤示範請勿模仿）

At Arkham Asylum, while walking around the exterior, you would constantly hear the Joker's laughter, creating a great atmosphere. In the middle of the walk, many performers dressed as the Joker would suddenly appear. I was extremely frightened, so I didn't take any photos. Imagine a situation where a Joker stands there completely motionless, staring at you, making you feel the urge to confront him.

給大家的建議去萬聖節活動一個小訣竅，就是假裝不害怕就對了，這樣你被嚇到的機率大大減低，因為鬼都會挑看起來很害怕，如果被盯上就會時不時的一直嚇你，即使腳已經抖到不行臉也不能露出害怕的樣子。

A tip for everyone attending a Halloween event is to pretend not to be scared—this significantly reduces the chances of actually getting frightened. Ghosts and spooky characters tend to target those who seem visibly afraid. If you're chosen as a target, they might keep trying to scare you repeatedly. Even if your legs are shaking uncontrollably, try not to show any signs of fear on your face.

第一次來體驗國外的萬聖節活動雖然很害怕，但現在回想起來覺得很好玩，尤其是大家都非常沈浸在這個氛圍中，推薦指數給第一次的朋友五顆星，一定要來體驗看看。

Experiencing Halloween abroad for the first time was quite frightening, but looking back, I find it incredibly fun. Especially how everyone is deeply immersed in the atmosphere. I highly recommend it to first-timers, giving it a five-star rating. It's an experience that shouldn't be missed.

票價好像不便宜可以先在官網預訂，這應該可以列為人一生要來體驗一次的活動之一。

Tickets might not be cheap, so it's a good idea to pre-book them on the official website. This event should definitely be listed as one of those must-experience-at-least-once activities in a lifetime.
