深入澳洲Ekka Show：遊樂、美食與煙火的精彩合輯

趁著下班終於有時間跟朋友一起來昆士蘭一年一度盛大的EKKA SHOW，抵達的時間已經是晚上，停好車開始往會場走，還有看到已經休息的餐廳和才剛開始營業的club，雖然不是我們今天的目的地但好喜歡這間地下club的氛圍。

After finishing work, we finally had time to join the annual grand EKKA SHOW in Queensland with friends. By the time we arrived, it was already evening. After parking the car, we started walking towards the venue. We noticed some restaurants closed for the night and a club that had just opened. Although it wasn't our intended destination for the day, we really liked the atmosphere of this underground club.

走著走著還發現了一間已經休息的餐廳天花板都是小小兵的裝設還有店內的擺設也都是瑪利歐的公仔，我們就像小偷站在人家店門口一直看，想著有一天要回來吃結果一直沒有回來就移動去墨爾本了，後來查了一下是一間漢堡店叫「Super Combo Burgers」，直接先加入口袋名單。

As we walked along, we stumbled upon a closed restaurant with ceilings adorned with Minion decorations and Mario figurines scattered throughout the store. We stood outside like thieves, gazing in and promising ourselves to return someday for a meal. However, we ended up moving to Melbourne and never made it back. Upon later investigation, we discovered it was a burger joint named "Super Combo Burgers." It immediately made its way onto our bucket list.

遠遠的地方就可以看到會場的舞台搭建的好像馬戲團，越走越近也會聽到音樂正在播放。

From a distance, the venue's stage looked like a circus set-up, and as we got closer, the music playing became more audible.

從門口驗票進來就看到餐廳外擺設一架很藝術的鋼琴，所以我就彈奏了一首世界名曲「我的家庭真可愛」，沒想到警衛還站起來看，太投入還贏得路人的「Good Job!」

我想只有在異地才讓我活起來吧，沒人認識的勇氣突然也讓我變得大膽了起來。

Upon entering through the ticket gates, I noticed an artistically placed piano outside a restaurant. Feeling inspired, I played a world-renowned tune, "My Family is Wonderful." Surprisingly, even the security guard stood up to watch, and my enthusiastic performance earned cheers of "Good Job!" from bystanders.

It's amazing how being in a different place brings out a different side of me. The courage that comes from anonymity in unfamiliar surroundings suddenly made me bolder.

開心的演奏完之後就繼續往前走了，還被餐廳外的外帶區設計吸引，真的就好像一台車停在這裡，還有餐車都很有設計感只可惜來的太晚都已經休息了。

After a joyful performance, we continued walking ahead and were drawn to the outdoor takeaway area of the restaurant. It was designed like a parked car, and the food trucks had such stylish designs. Unfortunately, arriving late meant they were already closed for the night.

走到會場看到第一個帳篷，以為是賣小吃沒想到竟然是一台ATM，讓我覺得這個場景非常可愛，為ATM搭起了一間小屋子而ATM好像一位店員在裡頭等候著人進去。

Walking into the venue, the first tent caught my eye. Initially, I thought it was a snack stall, but to my surprise, it turned out to be an ATM. The sight was incredibly cute—a small hut set up around the ATM, giving it the appearance of a tiny shop with the ATM acting as a cashier, seemingly waiting for customers inside.

告別了ATM之後我們就繼續往前走，先看到酒吧區可以坐在這休息或是喝一杯再進來逛。

After bidding farewell to the ATM, we continued walking forward and came across the bar area. It looked like a nice spot to sit, relax, grab a drink, and then head back in for more exploring.

而正中間的圓環就是舞台區會有馬匹表演，畢竟EKKA SHOW是一場農業嘉年華，舞台區也是坐著滿滿的人，沒想到這個時間人潮也是很多。如果累了可以坐在草皮上欣賞表演，表演活動是從白天就開始一直到晚上都有不同的表演可以看，除了表演白天還有區域可以抱羊跟動物們互動，抵達時間太晚就錯過了也沒關係，因為晚上的活動也是很精彩。

In the center was the circular stage area where the horse performances took place. Given that the EKKA SHOW is an agricultural extravaganza, the stage area was packed with people. Surprisingly, even at that time, the crowd was quite substantial. If feeling tired, sitting on the grass and enjoying the performances was a great option. The shows ran from daytime well into the night, offering different performances throughout. Besides the performances, during the day, there were areas for interacting with animals like sheep. Even if you arrived too late to catch those activities, it was alright because the nighttime events were just as spectacular.

包括突然出現這個大腳車，我就一直說我好想坐大腳車，講了好幾遍怕別人不知道我很想坐，因為我真的好想坐看看喔。

Including the sudden appearance of this monster truck, I kept saying how much I wanted to ride it. I repeated it several times, afraid that others wouldn't know how much I wished to experience it. I really, really wanted to give it a try!

我渴望的聲音已經出賣了我。"My eager voice has given me away."

看完表演就來排隊吃最有名的草莓聖代，就算上班已經吃草莓吃到膩了還是要跟風排隊來一支，甜筒就跟宜家的口感是一樣的不是硬的餅乾脆皮，再加上有點甜的草莓口味冰淇淋跟鮮奶油與新鮮草莓搭配，一個人一支剛剛好。

After watching the performance, we joined the queue for the famous strawberry sundae. Despite having had my fair share of strawberries at work, I couldn't resist lining up for one. The cone had the same texture as those from IKEA, not the hard biscuit-like cones. It featured slightly sweet strawberry-flavored ice cream, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries—a perfect treat for one person.

一支大概是5澳幣，原本覺得偏貴，但是他們會把部分銷售營業的收入捐給醫院做公益之後就覺得值得。

It's about 5 Australian dollars for one. Initially, I felt it was a bit expensive, but knowing that they donate a portion of the sales proceeds to the hospital for charity, I felt it was worth it.

整個展覽園區真的非常大之外還有許多可以拍照的裝置，例如EKKA LOVE，本人我就一屁股坐下來拍了張照紀念了我還手拿著快融化的草莓聖代。

The entire exhibition ground was really huge, and there were numerous photo installations, like the "EKKA LOVE." I personally sat right down and took a photo to commemorate the moment, holding my almost-melting strawberry sundae in hand.

整個展覽就像遊樂園一樣，除了有販賣小吃熱狗之外連遊樂設施都巨大化，如果不是我有來親眼看到，我不會相信這個溜滑梯超級巨大，連我這個大人都不敢玩推薦給喜歡尋找刺激的朋友們嘗試。

The entire exhibition felt like an amusement park. Besides selling hot dogs, even the amusement rides were oversized. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed how gigantic the slides were. They were so huge that even I, as an adult, hesitated to try. I recommend them to adventurous friends who enjoy seeking thrills.

我目測大概兩層樓高的巨大溜滑梯。A colossal slide, I'd estimate, was about two stories tall.

還有這個看起來就會直接頭暈嘔吐的跑車遊戲，不推薦給剛吃完熱狗跟聖代的朋友。

There was also this racing game that looked like it could make you dizzy or queasy right away. Not recommended for friends who have just finished eating hot dogs and sundaes.

也出現這種看起來超級危險的360度飛天的遊樂設施，我就傻傻站在下面一直發出「哇哇哇～」的聲音，光是用眼睛看我就已經目瞪口呆了。

There's also this insanely risky 360-degree airborne ride, and I stood there foolishly making "Wow-wow-wow" sounds. Just watching it with my eyes left me completely awestruck.

終於看到一個比較友善的飛碟遊樂設施，原本想要玩但是看到一啟動直接再度放棄，我還是逛逛街吃吃東西就可以了。

Finally, I spotted a more user-friendly flying saucer ride. I initially wanted to give it a try, but seeing it start up made me give up again. I guess I'll stick to strolling around and grabbing a bite to eat instead.

我已經不確定是我自己真的太膽小還是樂園的基本設施就是這樣。

總之園區遊樂設施都是要另外自己買票，想玩就去排隊然後付錢，門票不包含玩遊戲的價錢唷。

I'm not sure if I'm just too timid or if the amusement park rides are genuinely that intimidating. Anyway, all the amusement park attractions in the park require separate tickets—you queue up and pay if you want to play. Admission tickets don't cover the cost of rides.

除了聖代之外，再來就是必吃的就是熱狗，就是夜市那種炸熱狗不同的是它是「30公分巨大的化的熱狗」，拿到的時候除了充滿問號之外還笑了出來。貼心推薦，可以兩個人吃一根就夠了。

Apart from the strawberry sundae, another must-try is the hot dog—similar to the fried ones you find at night markets, but the difference is that it's a "30-centimeter gigantic hot dog." When I got it, I couldn't help but laugh in surprise. A friendly tip: it's thoughtful to share; one is enough for two people.

邊吃邊走還發現樹上還有投影著旋轉木馬，真的是處處都有驚喜跟巧思，從踏進來之後就一直發出驚嘆聲，當然這也是晚上的福利才能看得到，夜晚反而多了更多趣味性。

While walking and eating, I stumbled upon a projection of a carousel on the trees. Surprises and creative touches were everywhere, and I couldn't stop expressing my amazement since stepping in. Of course, these are the perks available only at night; it's in the evenings that you discover even more delightful elements.

走著走著也會有像夜市的遊戲，玩一次大概是五塊澳幣每一個攤販的價位都不太一樣，必須要說園區裡頭的遊戲都不會太難，基本上有玩都會得到玩偶，是我覺得讓人很暖心的地方，我就贏得了一個小飛象娃娃對這裡的印象又更加分了。

While walking around, there were also carnival-like games, typically costing about five Australian dollars per play. The prices varied among the stalls, but I must say, the games in the park weren't too challenging. Basically, anyone who played would win a stuffed toy. It felt heartwarming, and I ended up winning a little elephant plushie, which further enhanced my impression of this place.

而且這裡的遊戲也是巨大化，娃娃也是多到不怕你沒拿到，真的是隨隨便便都會贏得一隻娃娃。

Moreover, the games here are gigantic, and there are so many plush toys available that it's almost impossible not to win one casually.

EKKA SHOW還會有一個區域是專門販賣紀念品套組，就是有點像驚喜包只是全部打開給你看內容物有什麼，除了可愛的卡通玩具之外甚至還有化妝品也有，因為太可愛了所以我也買了一組玩具總動員的驚喜包，價位都不會太高，從10~30澳幣的都有，我的驚喜包裡頭有兩隻娃娃之外還有兩三組遊戲質感都很好，下次再去我應該會多買幾包回家，真的會買得很開心，但是有些比較熱門的都是已售完。

At the EKKA SHOW, there's a dedicated area for souvenir sets. It's similar to surprise packs, except they show you all the contents before purchase. Besides cute cartoon toys, they even offer cosmetics. I couldn't resist and bought a surprise pack of Toy Story characters because they were too adorable. The prices aren't too high, ranging from 10 to 30 Australian dollars. In my surprise pack, I got two dolls and a few game sets, all with great quality. Next time, I might buy a few more to take home; it's such a delightful purchase. However, some of the more popular ones were already sold out.

因為當時要上映玩具總動員4，然後卡嘣公爵是基奴李維配音，就直接買了這一組合。 Because at that time, "Toy Story 4" was being released, and Keanu Reeves voiced Duke Caboom, I directly bought this set.

活動快到尾聲的時候就會開始煙火表演，所以走到一半突然發現開始放煙火就腳步開始加快往舞台中間走，不只有單純的放煙火沒想到還有車子或馬匹加入表演真的好精彩，跟現場的音樂搭配甚至已經比跨年還要好看了，我已經感覺自己好像身處在迪士尼樂園了吧。

As the event neared its end, the fireworks display began. Halfway through, I suddenly noticed the fireworks starting, so I quickened my pace towards the center stage. It wasn't just about fireworks; there were also cars and horses joining the spectacle. It was truly magnificent! The combination of live music and the display was even more spectacular than New Year's Eve fireworks. I felt like I was in Disneyland.

這是我目前心中第一名的煙火表演了。

"This is currently the best fireworks display I've ever seen."

非常值回票價的一晚，意料之外的煙火表演非常好看真的就是一場嘉年華的盛宴，下次還想再來參加跟看煙火，真的不虛此行，還有在會場裡頭走到迷路跟被裝扮成小丑的人嚇其他時光真的都是非常美好的哦。

It was such a worthwhile evening! The unexpected fireworks display was absolutely stunning—a true carnival feast. I definitely want to come back next time for the fireworks; it was an unforgettable experience. Even getting lost in the venue and being surprised by people dressed as clowns were such wonderful moments.
